The arts have always been an integral part of my life. Involved in many different aspects of the arts, I’ve served as advertising director, docent, gallery manager, juror, art installer and collector.

Working with other artists and art organizations, exchanging ideas, and having the opportunity to exhibit has been very fulfilling.  Of all the art forms art forms I find the most pleasure exploring the watercolor medium.  My subject matter has been inspired by my love of nature, the Midwest landscape and travels to France and Italy.

Exploring methods to represent light through paint is the most engaging element in my landscape paintings.
