The Wisconsin Watercolor Society was founded in 1952 by a group of Wisconsin artists. It was the first Wisconsin art organization to be devoted exclusively to watercolor painting. Its purpose now as then has always been to demonstrate and exhibit meaningful development in the medium of watercolor and to serve as a catalyst for those genuinely interested in watercolor.

I’m a Master Gardener, community volunteer, adventurer, bike rider, hiker, camper, swimmer and paddler. I love a variety of music as well as reading books. I have been painting since college when some of my Architectural Presentations included watercolor. since then, I have gone through series, experimentation, classes, and have learned that painting has become a life-long passion. I have found inspiration in my travels, nature, gardening, interest in color and design. My many subjects represent some of my varied interests. My experience in teaching art for 34 years has also contributed to my work and outlook.
